木が育つ過程で生まれる、波打つような木目「縮杢（ちぢみもく）」の表情を生かした茶盆。

木がもつ固有の木目や揺らぎを見極めながら、一つひとつ手で彫り、暮らしの道具としての形へと仕立てています。
自然が生み出した造形を整えすぎることなく、人の手を加えることで使うための道具へ。梅田俊一郎氏が今回の制作で意識した、自然の都合と人間の都合、その「あわい」に生まれる佇まいを感じていただける作品です。

CLEANING: 

木の変色やカビ、割れを防ぐために、食洗機・乾燥機・電子レンジの使用、浸け置き洗い、クレンザーやたわしの使用、直射日光や高温多湿での保管は避けてください。  
お手入れの際は、時々植物油を薄く塗り、キッチンペーパーなどで拭き取った後、一日乾かしてなじませます。使い込むほどに色艶が増し、味わい深い風合いが生まれます。

To prevent discoloration, mold, or cracks, avoid using a dishwasher, dryer, or microwave, soaking in water, using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing pads, and exposing the tray to direct sunlight or high humidity.  

For maintenance, occasionally apply a thin layer of vegetable oil, wipe off the excess with a paper towel, and let it dry for a day. With continued use, the tray will develop a richer color and a beautifully aged character.
