The iconic bentwood classic designed by Michael Thonet is a masterpiece in its construction, consists of only six parts. The projecting frame that forms both the backrest and armrest is bent into its form from a single piece of solid beech wood. Swiss architect Le Corbusier was fascinated with the organic form and used it in many of his buildings.

In good vintage condition. Some signs of wear consistent with age and use.
