Tubular steel cantilever chair with a black wooden seat and backrest designed by Dutch architect Mart Stam, manufactured in 1939 by the legendary Mücke-Melder in Czech. Early production piece.
B43F/B43 are the original design and original Thonet chair manufactured for 1930’s and 1940’s before World War II. S43F, S43 are re-edition. They are different in shape of seat and backrest and in diameter of tubular steel, the original 22mm while the re-edition 25mm. The original screwed while the re-edition rivetted on the seat and backrest.
Condition: In good original vintage condition. Some signs of wear consistent with age and use.
