A luscious wooden bowls from Tutsi people of Rwanda. Hand carved from a single piece of local African hardwood by skilled artisans, with cracks in the wood repaired with white metal to create intricate patterns.

They are used for food, grains or ceremonies. More than just utensils, these bowls embody the artistry and cultural heritage of the Tutsi community.


Condition:
In good condition with wear commensurate with tribal use and metal repairs. Natural imperfections to surface. Nicely used patina.

本作は、ルワンダのツチ族による木製ボウル。現地の広葉樹を一木から削り出し、熟練した職人の手によって制作されています。木に生じた割れは白金属で補修され、その痕跡が文様のような表情を生み出しています。

食事や穀物の保存、儀礼などに用いられてきたもので、単なる生活道具にとどまらず、ツチ族の美意識と文化的背景を色濃く伝える存在です。

コンディション：
部族社会での使用に伴う摩耗や、金属による補修が見られます。
自然素材ならではの表情や揺らぎが残され、使い込まれた美しい経年変化が感じられます。
